Just heard Richard Evans on YouTube re: early days of comicons, Burrel Rowe, Larsons, Fischler, Jon Verzyl, Mannarino, Timely's, Planet Comics, CGC and sharing his personal collection of gold in Sept, 2022.

Thanks for posting this. I'm going to start watching these guys. When I see those early Fox and Fiction Houses I get all tingly. All those books in that presentation are just wow. Beautys.

Who did that Great Comics  3 cover, anyone know?

I envy that guy.  I wish I could go through Mr. Bedrock's collection and pick out 10 books.

He deserves the wonderful collection.    All those books bought 40-50 years ago and never sold.   The Mystic 1 that he paid $1k for at $4/hr in work trade.    Those are amazing stories and show how much and how long he's loved comics.   Well deserved!

I heard he paid for his first Marvel comics #1 9.0 while herding cats over the summer for minimum wage but had to quit after getting injured when one of them rebelled…

Only a tiny portion were.

Much to my continual annoyance, he remains an active buyer with a highly discerning eye for quality books. :(

I envy that guy too. Only because he has a book in his collection that I want.

Well, if there's only a single book from that collection that you want, then I also envy your collection because I want virtually every stunning eye-popping book that Richard has in his amazing personal collection.  :luhv:  :takeit:

The rumors of "cat" herding is vastly overstated and greatly embellished.  I never did any of this when competing for books.
