Has anyone dealt with Spencer R. Beck?

I am interested in what could possibly be my first OA purchase.

The piece I found is on Spencer R. Beck's site The Artists Choice.

As I'm new to this I am wondering:

 

1. Has anyone dealt with this company before and

 

2. What type of questions should I be asking about the OA?

It is a splash/pin-up page.

 

I know these are basic questions but any info would be appreciated.

Like others said, Spencer is legit and a serious dealer.

The only thing is that he can be a little bit slow replying to emails and mailing the pieces, since he has a day job and does the OA business on the side.

 

I've bought a couple of things from him before, no complaints besides the slowness.

That's if the piece is still availaible. I've had no problems with Spencer and he answered any of my questions in a timely manner. But as with most dealer websites, the listings may not be up to date. I never get my hopes up until I hear back that the page is available.

Only once I tried to order something, only to have him email me 4 days later that its not available.

I bought my awesome Rudy Nebres commissioned Conan splash from him, with no problems at all. In fact, he even realized he'd overcharged me for shipping and SENT BACK a money order for a few dollars' difference!

Spencer has a lot of art that he sells for the artists he reps. What you see on the site does not even scratch the surface of what he may have.

Spencer is pretty good. Did any of you guys rack up on stuff from his website during the Christmas sale last year?
