Why a comic book issued in 1977 is graded as Modern by CGC 1 1

Gold Key Winnie The Pooh #1 ( 2025049012) issued and published in January 1977 but CGC graded as MODERN instead of SILVER. Does this lower the value of this book. Or was it completed by mistake

If I'm understanding what you're asking right, the quick answer is no it does not affect value at all.

Longer answer:
a) 1977 is Bronze, not Silver
b) that's just the tier used at CGC - Modern is 1975-present $200 or less value

Any book after 1975 is considered modern tier by CGC. So not a mistake.

Also, why the hell would it be silver? That's not even a CGC tier.

Winnie the Pooh 1 7.0 is a nice book. Congrats. Not much in the way of value I’m sorry to say. Now if it were the rarer Whitman variant ....
