I really haven't had any issues with CGC. Every single order that I've placed has been shipped back within 25 days.

Economy for 2 cards with subgrades. Received 5/17/22, Shipped 5/19/22. Received from post office 5/23/22

 

Edited: FYI I live in the same state as CGC, so I was able to receive it a bit quicker than most will receive theirs

EDIT - 6/1/2022 ~13:00 EST:

I just got back my results! It took a total of 3 business days (excluding Sat. + Sun. + Memorial Day) from when they opened my package to when I got my grades, can view the images online, and it is marked shipped. 1 day for receiving and logging my submission, 1 day for grading, and 1 day for QC and shipping.

 

I am extremely happy with the grades I got too! This is also the first time I have ever used CGC. It was super fast and my cards look really good in the cases in the images they took. I'm very satisfied.

After seeing a Dark Phantasma Gengar character rare sell for $635 on Sunday, I had to jump in! Big price between perfect and pristine 10s, but that's okay...the fun will be seeing what happens! (I also turned in a Birthday Pikachu and a Golden Mew, but on a lower tier.)

So, to take a leaf out of Marceline's playbook:

Submission Type: one standard with imaging, two economy with no images
Card type: the Gengar is the SWI and the Pikachu and Mew are ENI
 

  • Shipped from USPS: 13 June - Monday
  • Arrived at CGC P.O. Box: 16 June - Thursday
  • CGC marked "Received": 17 June - Friday
  • Scheduled for Grading: same
  • Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging: possibly 20 June, because the Gengar was still marked as scheduled Sunday, 19 June
  • Grading/Quality Control: 20 June - Monday
  • Shipped to me: TBU - looks like Wednesday may be a go! (the other two will probably be a couple more weeks yet, but I can wait!)

Unless things have slowed down in the last two weeks, I expect it to take about a week. (Replace Memorial Day with Juneteenth and it's the exact same schedule, even.)

Did your Topps cards ship separate from your TCG cards?

I want to get my Pokémon cards graded. I see that there are different memberships and what it costs for the year I assume ? That being said how much is to pre-card for bulk? Kind of hard to get a membership if I don’t know what I will be paying for card. Can someone help me out ?
