CGC is thrilled to team up with ACE ASSIST and KLF Sports to bring fans an exclusive Private Signing with Screen Award-nominated actor, writer and producer Simu Liu, star of Marvel’s latest film Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings. Liu has signed exclusively with ACE and KLF, making this event the only place to get his signature! He will be offering autographs in English as well as Chinese. See pricing and more details below!

Liu began his career in film and television at a young age when he landed roles in series such as Heroes Reborn, Nikita and Warehouse 13. Since then, the critically acclaimed actor has continued to star in some of the industry’s biggest titles including Blood and Water and Taken. He is best-known for his role as Jung Kim in the award-winning sitcom Kim’s Convenience. In addition, Liu has written and produced for television and has guest starred in shows including Bad Blood, Fresh Off the Boat and The Expanse.

“Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings is a cultural phenomenon and having Simu Liu sign for CGC and ACE for his first signing ever is extraordinary,” says Stephen Shamus, ACE President. “Simu Liu is going to be front and center for the MCU for years to come, and being able to get CGC Signature Series is a phenomenal opportunity for the fans."

“We are so excited to be partnering with ACE and KLF to bring fans another fantastic Private Signing event,” said Brittany McManus, CGC Signature Series Director. “Simu Liu is an extremely influential and impactful actor, and we are beyond honored to be able to work with the young star for this signing. Liu’s autographs will only be offered during this exclusive signing so be sure not to miss out on this opportunity!”

For this exclusive event, ALL CGC members, including free CGC members, can submit books directly to CGC headquarters in Sarasota, Florida. CGC must receive all submissions for this event by Friday, October 22, 2021.

After Liu signs the submitted books, CGC will grade and encapsulate them with an estimated turnaround time of six weeks. If CCS pressing is also requested, the turnaround time is estimated at eight weeks. After grading and encapsulation, the collectibles will be shipped back to their owners.

The CGC Private Signing fee for Simu Liu’s Autograph in English is $230 per item and includes:

Yeah.  The price will probably be up there if it happens.  But still, an RDJ signature on an iron man book would be cool as h&@l. 😁

Hi,

If I have a book that is being signed at another event in the Fall and sent down with the CGC ss paperwork from that event along with the Downey paperwork, can they be combined?

I do note that if a book is previously encapsulated, it can be combined.  This would just be missing the first encapsulation.

I think you have to wait for that specific book to be sent back before you can add a service. If this was a facilitator and not a cgc inhouse signing specifically it could be done.

But cgc has not been the best to work with in that manner to my knowledge

@Chazgee can you confirm?

ya so it would done at a specific event prior to the cut off date mentioned

mailed in with 2 sets of paperwork, 1 certifying the first autograph and the second set would be the downey paperwork for it

hi so to clarify

if i have a facilitator send in a raw book with a signature (say was signed in October of 2021) with all the CGC ss paperwork verifying the signature, CGC could then have RDJ sign it and it would get the yellow label with both sigs

thanks

The problem is

Sending in a book to CGC for a signing, CGC itself will not hold the book even with double the paperwork for 2 artists to sign at a time, unless that is a specific option that you can fill out 1 form for.

A facilitator, if they had the book and were witnessing a sig, but you decided that they should wait to send to cgc until another person signed at a later event, that could happen.

For some reason CGC with in-house signings isn't extending this courtesy to the consumer.

CGC is making us fill out paperwork only for what is available at the time. We can not double up unless the specific option is available under the submission form.

I sent in for Campbell, which should be done way before Downey, but I couldn't have filled out paper work for Downey and Campbell and have CGC perform the signing because it isn't an option under "1!!!!" paperwork option.

The only way to get those, I'd have to wait for CGC to send back the Campbell slab, and then fill out "new paperwork" for Downey!

I use those as an example because I don't know what other artist besides Downey that your looking for, but CGC is only offering the option for Downey as only his signature.

CGC will not hold a book after any current signings and later have Downey sign like a facilitator would for some reason, so you'll have to wait until any book is in hand to send to CGC for Downey by itself....

Hope that clears it up :wishluck:

I mean if you have a witnessed yellow label, and send for Downey later, CGC will honor both witnessed signatures......

It's just the paperwork to send for Downey, you have to send it in for him alone, CGC will not hold books from previous signings to add another signature later.

They'll send it back to you, and you'll have to send it back in (thumbsu

SO you might be able to do what you want depending on the artist, and if you get it back in time then to resend with "new" paperwork for Downey :foryou:

But CGC won't alter orders for things already there, and they won't hold books for later signings and will only perform witnessed signatures of the options listed. But If you got stuff back, then you could specifically send back in, cgc just won't hold books or double up on paperwork, unless the option is already listed and then you'd only need one set of paper work lol

it's not that confusing, just trying to be clear hahahah
