CGC Announces a Giant In-House Private Signing Event with Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, Charles Soule and Tony Daniel

Grab those books and get excited for this major signing opportunity!

CGC is beyond thrilled to announce that we will be hosting four incredible comic book artists and writers — Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo, Charles Soule and Tony Daniel — for an exclusive In-House Private Signing event! In addition to signatures, the artists will be offering Remarques for purchase. See pricing details and examples below.

Scott Snyder is an award-winning writer who has written comics for both DC and Marvel, including Batman, Batman: Gates of Gotham, Detective Comics, The Last Knight on Earth, Dark Nights: Metal, Iron Man: Noir, The Wake and the story collection, Voodoo Heart. His first creator-owned, ongoing series was American Vampire, which won the 2011 Eisner Award for Best New Series as well as the 2011 Harvey Award for Best New Series. Snyder later became the writer of both Batman and a new Swamp Thing ongoing series as part of The New 52, DC Comics’ company-wide relaunch of all of its titles. In addition, Snyder wrote an Image published miniseries titled Severed, which was a seven issue horror series.

Greg Capullo is a master comic artist and penciller who is best known for his work with Marvel, Image and DC Comics where he worked on multiple titles including Dark Knights: Metal, The Last Knight on Earth, X-Force, Spawn, Quasar and Angela. He has been the artist for the New York Times bestselling, highly acclaimed Batman series for the past five years. He is the creator of The Creech and co-created the smash-hit Image Comics’ series Reborn. In addition, Capullo has created art for Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft, contributed character designs for the award-winning HBO animated Spawn series and created album artwork for multiple popular musical groups including Korn and Disturbed.

Charles Soule is an esteemed comic book writer and novelist. He is known for writing Daredevil, She-Hulk, Thunderbolts, Swamp Thing, Superman/Wonder Woman, Death of Wolverine and various Star Wars books and comic series from Del Rey Books and Marvel Comics. Soule has a number of creator-owned series like Curse Words (with Ryan Browne) and Undiscovered Country which he co-wrote with Scott Snyder and Giuseppe Camuncoli. Soule is also one of the creators of STAR WARS: THE HIGH REPUBLIC which lead to his New York Times’ best-selling novel Light of the Jedi.

Tony Daniel is a comic book writer and artist, known for his work on various books for DC Comics, including Teen Titans, Flash: The Fastest Man Alive, Superman/Wonder Woman and Batman. He made his professional comics debut on Comico’s The Elementals and continued on to illustrate X-Force for Marvel Comics and Spawn: Bloodfeud for Image Comics. Daniel has written and illustrated several creator-owned titles such as Silke, The Tenth, Adrenalynn, and F5. He was announced as the writer and artist of the relaunched Detective Comics and The Savage Hawkman series. Daniel then began illustrating the adventures of Superman in Action Comics and is currently working once again with Scott Snyder on the breakout comic book series Nocterra.

“Our Signature Series team is so pumped to be given this opportunity to host these talented and highly influential authors and artists at our headquarters for this exclusive Private Signing,” said Brittany McManus, CGC Signature Series Director. “These four creators have worked on some incredible titles and have created some truly iconic stories for the comic community and we cannot wait to see all of the submissions that we will receive for this highly anticipated signing!”

My 1st print blank sketch was checked in today (8/26).  Pretty appropriate being National Dog day!

To say I am beyond excited for this is an understatement.  I very well may be more excited for this single book being done than any other book I own, Iron Man #55 included.

Does the RDJ signing mean he is eventually coming directly to CGC.  If so, would he sign any Iron Man comic?  I have never submitted to an actor.  He is definitely one I would dig something up for. Come on it’s RDJ. 😁✌️

Yeah.  The price will probably be up there if it happens.  But still, an RDJ signature on an iron man book would be cool as h&@l. 😁

Definitely! If you have the means, I look forward to the result!  :tink:
