Superman: It's the greatest challenge of my life. This super-outlaw may be bluffing -- but I can't take that chance. Here goes!

 

So, Brainiac says that Superman will be destroyed.  Superman thinks Brainiac may be bluffing, but he doesn't want to risk being destroyed. 

Fair enough. Even if Brainiac is bluffing, Superman can't take that chance. 

Then... "Here goes!"...

So, he takes the chance?

But, yes, Superman is a bit confused.

Oh yeah wut about the one in Action 275 where stupidman gets some'mystery' red AND green K effect and he cant stop brainiac even with heat vision the voila it is revealed the red K gave him an extra thrird eye in back of head and voila by spinning at stupid speed the THREE eyes have enough heat vision to finally penetrate brainiac's force field-
You can see the problem with this, right, guys??

"Our young captor from OUT OF SPACE left the top off of our cage......."

Did the young captor live in a small studio apartment? Was he a hoarder and space was becoming sparse?

What's difficult to understand about it? I haven't read the story but from the cover Superman is saying he has to take the chance that he will be destroyed because he has to kill the guy, probably to protect the earth or the universe or something. He has to do something if he is bluffing or not. Pretty simple to understand to me.

An earth cat would laff his *** off watching how slowly this critter goes after prey.  I've seen cats-they move eyeblink fast.  Farm cats are known to leap upon scattering mice, pinning several with their weight while they liesurely eat them one by one.

So, he takes the chance? 

He did DARE him....can't back down now.  It's right there in the super-hero rule book.
