Please share your insights about the condition of my Conan 1. Presents well, but am noticing defects as I get more comfortable grading. Assistance is appreciated! 4 4

Pictures look good. Maybe close ups of the back cover corners next time.

I'll go with a 5.0 VG/FN to 6.0 FN for now.  Edge wear, substantial color-breaking reading stress along spine, possible stain at the left edge of the back cover (how about a crisp shot of the middle left edge), and some discoloration of the white areas of the front/back covers.  Any tanning or toning of the inside front and/or back covers?  Is the centerfold securely attached at both staples?

I'll go 5.5.

A press will help with the spine crease but, of course, not with the color-breaks that resulted from it. It could go to 6.0 after C&P.
