Regrading a slabbed book bought on ebay?

Hi! I'm new to these forums and hoping for some help. I bought a mid-grade PGX slabbed book on ebay, and I don't think the grade is accurate now that I have it in hand.

It has also clearly shifted in the case from the pics from the ebay listing, which seems weird to me.

If I send it to be regraded to CGC, and it comes back lower, can I return under Ebay or PayPal buyer protection?

For what it's worth, if it came back a 0.5 grade or 1.0 lower, that would be fine. But if it comes back lower than that, I would want to return.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I recently crossed over several key books from PGX to CGC.  6.5 came back 6.0, 5.5 came back 5.5, 4.5 came back 4.5.  I did it more from a resale value, but if you aren't happy with it I'd return it.  But if you bought a graded book and are trying to argue the grade that's the wrong reason to return it.  If you think it has been damaged while slabbed then you have a point.

I have bought items that were done by other graders in the idea that I could get them regraded by CGC for the same grade and make a few extra bucks in the process. In most cases, the original grade ended up higher than the CGC score equalling to a lower score and equal or less value.

I learned my lesson and don't that any longer.
