Urban Legend says that food donated to African nations was usually packaged so that the locals would know what is inside. Many starving people were illiterate, and even if they could read, they might not be able to read English. A can of tomatoes would show a picture of tomatoes, etc. They were evidently not big fans of Gerber products, starving or not. For a 50 pack of 750FB it's $13. Put them together and that's $27. But if you look at eBay or other sellers, the price is 3-4x those prices. I know Gerber is having trouble getting product made but it's just a drag right now.

I buy in bulk from eGerber and I now have a magazine sized short box filled with slightly used Silver Age 750 fullbacks and 775 mylars that I took comics out and put them in cheaper mylites to ship to CGC instead of including them when I have books graded. Now I understand if someone wants these for personal books, but I think you get what I am saying. Try to conserve and buy in bulk when you have the chance. lighthouse
Per an email from Gerber today, they are no longer even taking orders on boards, and won't even be taking backorders on boards until February. Current turnaround time on the mylars is 10-14 weeks and harshly limited to ration them out. musicmeta, Arkham and greggy

NP_Gresham
As others have said, I order in bulk Bought 1000 775 mylites and 1000 750 FB and I am not even halfway through If this drags on 5 more years, then I may worry Edited December 4, 2021 by NP_Gresham sevans1979
marvelcollector
Received Mylite2s today that were ordered in September, I think it was. Just about in the timeframe quoted at the time of order. I don't know...for "bad times" that's not really terrible. Dave2739 and sevans1979
