I thought it was quite ingenious.

The story itself wasn't bad, but the pacing and Jon Hamm's acting were painful.

I could have easily cut 45 minutes out and made it much better. Can't fix Hamm's acting.

Personally, that's what you get for pressing books. You took the chance and you lost, next!

You are spot on, you get what you paid for. Why come on here after the fact to complain. Knowing that those books are worth thousands of dollars you go to a hole in the wall for pressing? It's the OPs fault.

And the name of this store and his presser are?

Name them both - others may have been in the same boat.

Hillbilly Comics in association with Leilands Comic pressing and road kill skinnin' -  Nothing like a comic hot off the presser and a possum panini on the side

Bingo.  OP, Give us his name and I'll send Bo down there with his xmen 4 3.0 for a press and regrade as a test. I  know that book like the back of my hand.

Find out who pressed your books and invite him over to discuss your next pressing project...

Positive note the situation worked out! I looked at the book after seeing the photos taken and it's just dust that was on the mylite bag after being left out overnight on my desk. Didn't notice it in the photos before I left for work so my bad. The presser gave me money back to make up for the difference in the damage of the book (we agreed it's a 8.0) and the before grade was a 9.4 so he paid the difference but for the Marvel Spotlight 32 he said it was like that when he got it so that means when I gave it to the owner it got damaged. He denied it so I did not get anything for Marvel Spotlight 32. So I just took it as a loss. but on a positive note my level headed girlfriend who simply listened and said she would buy me another copy for my birthday and for our 5 year anniversary. I was going to get these books pressed but thank God I didn't 😂

Other note I talked to other people who got their books done by the same guy at the same store and most of them had amazing experiences and a few had issues regarding his technique. His name is William Saviano, his like a middle aged man with a tattoo of reverse flash on his left arm, he wears wired glasses from like the 70s. He goes to shops in Nassau County to press books. The owner usually moves around the island and apparently burns bridges with everyone he meets, his name is Jason (don't know last name) and he worked for Emerald Comics.

I too, live in Nassau County.  I send my books out of state to be pressed by a reputable pressing service.  I have a few friends that have attempted to steer books to some of these guys.

Not a chance.

So let me get this straight, the comic store owner screwed you over on the Marvel Spotlight 32, and now your girlfriend's going to pay for a new one?
