Read any description of the Copper Age of comics and it is characterised as a period with a dark, serious, gritty style with examples such as Frank Millers’ Dark Knight Returns.

While there was plenty of that, there were also a lot of light hearted books. Post your favourites here…

Sergio Aragone brought so much laughter and fun with his comic creations, particularly Groo (& Rufferto his trusty canine pal) through out the copper age. He was truly a cartoon comedy genius

Dave Sim didn't hold back parodying Marvel characters, hey  I read Spider-Ham was Marvel replying in kind to Dave's Cerebus character. Funny stuff
