There are quite a few that feel the same way actually.  Some want to say, that people leave or take a step back due to moderation, or to what people post and the squabbling else.   For some, that may hold true.  However, there are a lot of people that have been reevaluating both their professional and personal lives over the last two years.  There are news articles and devoted segments of people doing the same.   There are a lot of people that used to be here that left once they became a parent, or married, or had other life altering events occur both good and bad.   Is it really a shock that in these times that people re-prioritize and reevaluate as many life altering events both good and bad have occurred all at once?

At the end of the day, this is a message board.  It is obviously not a priority nor should it be as you are raising two boys and have your health to think about for their sake and yours.  If you were to leave it is not a FDQ exit, it is sometimes a natural movement in life.   You would be missed but eventually people move on.  I have openly started scaling back purchases and started selling off a lot of things for different reasons but for the same sentiment since last year because as we get older we reevaluate things.   I know a few other members here have privately been doing the same.  Everyone has their reasons and people come and go.

Just because you re-prioritize does not mean it amounts to a FDQ exit.

100% spot on. This is one of the reasons I have been whittling down my collection, and still doing so. I can't take it to the grave. Life changes by the minute. Tomorrow is promised to no one.
