Yeah I realize the danger of putting the results before putting the asnwers. Because then you guys don't know the grades and can't check that I added it up correctly.

So once again, sorry about that. I will reveal the winners when I can also post the result.

I had taken a different route this round for calculating the grades. I assigned each factor in grading a variable with the appropriate points, and then crunched the numbers using this formula.

 

However halfway through this with the first book, I realized I could not keep all of the numbers straight and abandoned it.

@adampasz is the only one left, but he did tell me work was crazy at the moment. I will put all the info at noon tomorrow (answers and results) and you can check to see if I made a mistake.

We have 2 prizes, so if there is a tie for first place either there will be that tie breaker question or (what I preffer) we simply have 2 winners and they agree amongst eachother what prize they want.

My thoughts: grade given was way too conservative for one of the most beautiful and freshest GA books I had ever seen, TAKE MY MONEY!

Pressing candidate: the worst

No grade given, purchased locally

CGC Grade: 8.0

Pressing candidate: bad

 

Daredevil 168

Grade purchased as: (to be disclosed later)

CGC Grade after CPR: 9.4

Pressing candidate: Great

And here is the result. The top 10 was fierce so if you are in the top 10, just check the calculations and let me know if you see anything off.

From what I see, it looks like Funnybooks did win, so all the congratulations were in order. But they share first place with Croatbag.

Meaning that Grendelbo and company are still "second place" without a tie breaker and indeed follow up winners.
