Popular Post Point Five
Awesome topic BTW. Here's what I came up with from my purchases of the last few years. In general, romance comics are my go-to for cheap thrills. Lots of great stuff left in the $50-250 range. I've been chipping away at a run of the sleazier All-True Romance comics (#9 is pictured). These were always cheap, but a few random issues have exploded on ebay this past year, so presumably a few other collectors are looking. Popular Post Point Five
Not a war comics guy, but I've always really liked the Heath Atlas covers, and this one jumped out at me. Disturbing content; amazing use of black inks and a rich color palette. 1950's war comics, october, Chief1332 and 13 others 15
Popular Post Point Five
I wouldn't have thought any cool PCH covers were still under the radar, but this one is fantastic and usually underpriced if you can find it. I guess #25 and #27 get all the love. (I still want those too!) Paul © ® ⚽️💙™, goldust40, Flex Mentallo and 6 others

Popular Post Point Five
Finally, and we covered this in a different thread... some great, quite affordable Shadow Comics covers if you dig for them. There's a couple of really graphic covers that command big bucks in slabs, and a lot of ho-hum ones, but there are also quiet Bob Powell masterpieces like this one. Powell is underrated. A lot of that Shadow run deserves another look. Ol' Plastic Man never gets any respect either. Some cool stuff in this horror/monster crossover type run too. Also a Steve Savage. Not one of Kinstler's best, but the colors! Even this nice copy, the Salida, was not expensive. Hmmm... let me just throw it out there that you and I have vastly different ideas about "cheap" comics, seeing as I have never spent anything remotely approaching that, but that's one of the awesome things about this hobby: there really is fun and interesting stuff at every price level. Ergo, I'll play along with these five: Edited February 9, 2022 by PopKulture Robot Man, Mmehdy, KirbyJack and 12 others
