I’m a little confused it says 1 point for each grade you are off ( 0 points is the best score one can achieve.  1 point will be added to your score for each grade that is higher or lower than the actual grade.    If the actual grade for the book is 5.0 and you guess 4.0, your score for that book is 2.  If the actual grade for the book is 5.0 and you guess 6.0, your score for that book is 2.  If the actual grade for the book is 5.0 and you guess 5.0, your score for that book is 0.)

so wouldn’t the above example be your score would be 1?

5.0 to 5.5 is 1 point.  5.5 to 6.0 is another point = 2 points.

5.0 to 4.5 is 1 point. 4.5 to 4.0 is another point = 2 points.

That give you a better explanation?
