If you're new, and we all were at one time, you should check out the stickied thread on the main forum page for Newbie Comic Collecting Questions, the thread at the top, can't miss it.  A lot of questions can be answered there without starting a thread, posting photos, etc.

You don't have to remove them, but it's typically better if you do.

There's a lot of things you should know before sending comics in for grading at CGC/etc.

One of the things that I think you need to know is that it's very cheap to buy these 5 covers already graded at 9.8 on the aftermarket. I wouldn't send these in unless I knew for a fact that 9.8 was the most probable outcome.

I also love the coolness factor of having the sealed multipack.
