Army2013
Hello Fellow Collectors, I got this book and was reading the grader notes and only thing on it was ink. Do you guys think it is worth resubmitting? I mean everything else is so crispy. Thanks! -Sean
THE_BEYONDER
What was the actual grader’s note? Or did it just say “ink”?
FFB
What makes you think you'd get any higher of a grade with that big blotch of ink on the front cover?
theCapraAegagrus
No. That's not typical overspray.

When used in relation to paper ephemera, "crispy" used to be a bad thing. joeypost and Army2013
Army2013
Grader notes just say " distribution ink left top of front cover" The book otherwise is in great shape no ticks I can see. I just think its crazy to have 1.5 ding for the ink. Chaos_in_Canada and Tedsaid

Topnotchman
Although this is the first time I've seen ink in this proportion on a Spidy 300. With late silver and bronze age comics, CGC can be wildly inconsistent with distributor ink and how much of a deduction goes into the final grade. If you have time and funds, its worth a resubmit. djzombi
With ink that unsightly right on the front cover, I'm not surprised at all by that grade.

Moreover, you may have gotten a stricter (or looser) grader than others. Or maybe they didn't have their coffee. In other words, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
