Special Marvel Edition #16, 1973. 2nd Shang Chi. Top edge wear, and a nearly vertical non-color breaking crease that goes top to bottom. This was in my pile of books that I wanted to press when I had designs on buying the gear and learning. I think it can be improved quite a bit. 6.0 as it sits.

Spectre #7, 1968. Nice copy, but it's all about the spine. I think it holds it back to a 5.0. Take a look for yourself. Otherwise, just a small amount of edge wear, a bit of soiling bottom right edge front  and a spot of soiling on the back cover, with nice pages.

Spectre #9, 1969. Early Wrightson work. Sharp copy, with some spine tics and a light stain on the top left back corner. On the front, when you hold it in the right light, it looks like some dots or foxing go right down the middle. Very difficult to see, but they are there. Can't tell what they are, as there is no evidence of moisture, and it's not really discolored like foxing. I have it at 7.0 structurally, but knocking it a full grade for this dynamic.

Last one for now....

Wolverine #1, Limited Series, 1982. Nice copy with spine stress being the biggest issue. I count 11 or 12 spine tics, but most are small. A bit of color rubbing along spine and top edge, a small amount of edge and surface wear. Better than mid-grade, but not threatening the 9s. 8.0 to me, but I thought about 7.5. I am set on 8.0, but please look closely.

Mysterious Stories #4, Premier Magazines, 1955. Really nice copy. Spine wear, but minimal wear to the body of the cover. Deep colors and good gloss. Pages are very nice, but there is some aging to the edges of the covers including a dust shadow on back.  Grease pencil "X" in the CCA box. Complete and attached. Only four blue labels on the census. I think this one is 4.5...maybe nicer.

Exciting War #6, Pines (Standard), 1952. Wild, flamethrower cover. Complete and attached. Piece of tape on the interior of the front cover repairing a small tear at the top edge (to the left of the word "BLAZING"). There is an impact to the cover in the flamethrower guy's fuel pack that goes through the cover (no paper loss, and presents nicely). Production crease on the cover that has a small tear at the right edge (just above the green cylinder). Decent spine, but bit of a miswrap. Some aging apparent around the cover edges, but pages are very nice. I think 3.5. 12 blue labels on the census.

*Note: i revised this listing for a defect that I had noted in my spreadsheet, but forgot about and didn't notice when I was looking at it live. I removed the reference to maybe 4.0 grade, and reduced the price.*

Battle Cry #3, Stanmor Publications, 1952. Tough, atomic age war book with only three blue labels on the census. This one is solid and complete, and lays very flat. Nicely presenting copy. Some pulling of the cover at the bottom staple, but still attached. Minimal surface wear, a bit of edge wear to top back, and some aging around the perimeters of the covers. Pages are, again, very nice. I had this book at 4.0, but I think you could go a half step higher even.

Battle Cry #2, Stanmor Publications, 1952. Another tough book, with only three blue labels out there (no GPA info, and not much I can find out there on comps). This one is really nice, laying very flat, complete and attached. Great color and gloss, and really stellar pages. There is some aging to the edges of the covers, but minimal wear. I think it's at least a 6.0.

Last of the GA books (for now (shrug))...

Authentic Police Cases #17, St. John, 1952. Baker horse racing cover, which we all know is what he is known/revered for. Only three blue labels on the census, and 5.5 is the top. This one isn't quite that nice, but not far off. Complete and attached. Great reds on the cover. Corner creases top and bottom front right, chipping along top edge of back. Minimal spine wear. Nice pages. I think it's a 4.0 or maybe 4.5.

I have debated and debated, but I need to clear more space...

Weird Tales Of The Future #8, Aragon Publications, 1953, CGC 3.0 CrOW. I love this book, as most PCH fans do. I did not submit this book, but there is no way it was pressed. Looks like improvement can be had viewing through the case. I think it's hard to price this one. Last sale in this grade was over two years ago at $1,075. Most recent sales are a 1.8 for $1,059 in March and a 4.0Q for $1,883 in May.

$2,575 shipped and insured in the US

Keep it! Come on, how much space does a classic like this take? (shrug)
