Hey all! Alex and I will be attending the show in the same spot as last December (Booth #1319). We bought a bunch of books in SDCC and also received several shipments back while we were gone, so be prepared for even more new inventory. Overall, our inventory is miles better than when we were here this past winter, so I hope you all can stop by the booth and catch up with us. I'll post a few of the books we just got back here as well:

Everyone please check this booth out. Best booth at Motor City this year and I’m sure they will make a strong case for best at this show too.

Anyone else here feeling a strange vibe?  A lot of empty booths and not much in the way of Comics-- I just bought a few things from the Reece Boys but I'm struggling to find more.   Harley is setup somewhere in here.   Tons of Pop nonsense.   Did people skip this one because Expo was in town a month ago?  Very disappointed so far.

Compared to Fan Expo this felt like a lot more comic dealers. They are rather spread out, though. I had no idea Victory was there until several hours in.

It seemed emptier and the booths were spaced out far more

can you do a show report with pics? I didn't want to drive for 5 hours and walk the show then drive 5 hours back to St Louis...

Friday was bare and crowd was not that heavy. Sat. Empty spaces on Friday were filled with vendors and much more foot traffic through out the show and I made few purchases and vendors were whom I spoke with were telling me it was a solid show thus far and I over heard one dealer speaking to another gentleman and he was stating how awful this show was but he had his ASM129 CGC 6.5 for $3150 (as an example) so i assume the price tag may have drove some people off. Lot of funkos everywhere and I mean a lot of funkos.

I had a pretty good time. I thought the crowds each day were similar to last year. Kind of dead on Friday but good on Saturday and Sunday. Certainly not close to pre covid days but it's nice to be able to get through the aisles easier. Here's some pics. Sorry for the glare on the wall books

My last one at C2E2 was in 2019 just before the shutdown due to COVID-19 pandemic.  I haven't attended it ever since but I heard there were fewest comic book dealers this year.  Comic4less gave up on the shows three years ago.  So far, Reece's, Dale Roberts Comics, (maybe) Graham Crackers Comics and Superworld Comics. Who else exhibited there?

Harley, HighGrade, Dave & Adam's, Metropolis, Victory, Tomorrow's Treasures that I remember. I can think of two dealers with good sized booths that had some nice GA but I don't know the names. I don't recall them being there before. There were quite a few more dealers with a variety of books.

Yes, Highgradecomics and Metropolis.

Harley is rarely coming to Chicago.   Back in 2009, I used to see about 25 different dealers. In 2019, I think it was about 14 dealers.
