Hi, first post on this page just looking for some input on my recently graded 5.0 She Hulk 1 1980

I anticipated a bit of a higher grade but I respect their decision, so I’m wondering if its worth the time to send this back to get pressed and regraded. let me know!

thank you in advance for your time

The ?'s you need to ask yourself;  is it worth the money to receive a bump to the next highest grade or no grade bump at all.

My opinion on this Savage She-Hulk 1; unless it will hit a 9.8 after a press then I'd "let it go" and use the money on greener (pun intended) prospects . Price on this book in all grades is sinking like stone that's been dropped in the ocean on 9.6's and lower the stone has an anchor attached.

Do some research on the pricing between the one you have and the expected grade as a result of a press.

compare that to the cost of press and regrade (including shipping), and if the margins work out relative to your personal subjective preferences, then do it.

Nobody else knows your personal financial and collection goals better than you.

Agreed - however one needs to factor in approx price of the book in 6-12 months after its sent in. Due to the books super huge census pop in 9.6 and below what will be the new normal? Any bump when the show hits streaming if there even is a bump will be fleeting.

All time there are only a small handful of book with higher census populations.  The number of 9.8/9.6/9.4 and 9.2's are staggering and there may be another 1200-2400 or more in 9.6 and lower grades currently queued up at CGC  - I base that on how much the census pop has increased in the last 18 months.

I'd consider a more reliable way to a higher-graded She-Hulk:

1. Sell the 5.0

2. Buy a higher-graded copy with the 5.0 money and the $100 you saved by skipping the original plan.
