ASM vol.2 #1, what could be best than a new number 1 to make profits? 3. Death of Superman, one of the greatest event in comics history, in the 90s they were all spoke of it trough the media. 2. Cable #1, The debut of a new hero in his own title, with gold foil cover, really popular in the hobby. 1. No hesitation, same argument that Spiderman but here in addition you get an absolutely wonderful art by one of the greatest talent: MR Rob Liefeld. Do you know more about comics or the stock market? Some of the best advice I've received is to invest in things you know, understand, and use. I've made more money from comics than Wall Street, although that is no longer true. The comics BA recommended all have one thing in common- fifty years from now, they will all be fifty years older. If you are looking for a decent ROI, I'd stick with pre-1965, Marvels with art by Kirby or Ditko. And it sailed quite some time ago. The 8 year old me was attracted by the colours, the art, the action! He wasn't thinking of money, other than "how the hell do I get enough money to buy these? I freely admit to having zero money making skills where comics are concerned. I'm in it for fun, and if any of my books are now worth more than I could ever afford to pay for them now, well that was just good luck on my part for hanging onto them for so long! But sliced beer!
