Never heard of Ajax the Sun Man or pretty much any costumed superhero in Street & Smith pubs. Apparently he only appeared in about a dozen Doc Savage issues before he disappeared into obscurity.

Post those forgotten men and women in tights GA heroes.

If I was Ajax I would follow the sun around the world to always be powerful. Guess he didn't consider that.

This hero was buried among the backup features in 1942 issues of Catman... I think he started in issue #10. Cool name and concept, stylish costume and IMO lots of potential. The art and writing were really sharp (as per the great splash page below!), then slowly fizzled out.

1940 really must have been the peak year for these chicken-head helmets. There were a bunch of these guys and very few of them saw 1941.
