Hi all, please can you grade my silver surfer #1. Quite alot of creases on the back that don't thankfully break color. I will get this pressed too before submitting which will hopefully remove  these. Photos attached. Thanks all.

4.5/5.0 is a good as-is guess. It's really hard to guess how pressing will impact those creases. They don't look color breaking, but they're quite deep. I have doubts they'd completely disappear. If they did, I could see an 8.0, maybe 8.5 from a generous grader b/c it's square bound. A probable outcome after pressing is around 7, but try to post some after pressing photos if you can.

I thought it was VF until the pictures of BC show.  It crushed me to see multiple book length creases.

One subscription crease is an automatic 5.5. Now you have four of them plus one more short crease at the top BC.  It's very difficult to remove them through the pressing.  No matter if those non-color break creases still show the fold lines after pressing. I have seen them before.

FC = VF 8.0  BC = VG 4.0  So it's 6.0 (which is between two grades) but too many creases will downgrade to either 4.5/5.0.

Same. I'm thinking 5.5. Even though those creases dont break color they are still going to be visible after a press. Cover looks beautiful 👍
