Every interaction I ever had with Thomas was great, going back to when he purchased a book from me a couple of years ago. As it happens, I exchanged messages with him just four days ago, because I ended up winning one of his books on ComicLink ... and he took the time to look at my WTB thread and pick out a few books from my list that he'd recently submitted and might be able to offer me if they grade out as we were both hoping. That kind of collaboration and looking out for one another among collectors is so precious, and so greatly appreciated. Based on just those limited online exchanges, I could tell he was a great guy. It doesn't surprise me at all to hear even better stories from people who knew him much better than I did. Sincere condolences to all of his family and friends. I knew Thomas just a little from the boards, and got to meet him at Baltimore last year. Kind, helpful, and just a friendly, chill dude. Thomas was a pillar of this community and judging from the response, he was anywhere and everywhere when it came to helping a fellow Boardie and I have a feeling that this extended to all areas of his life.
