I’m pretty sure this is the book I sold that may of been professionally cleaned. In-hand before I sold it was newsstand fresh. I bet it looks amazing now. About 12 years ago I bought a large OO collection out of Kansas that came from the cousin of a famous sci-fi writer (Harlan Ellison maybe?). Retro's dad's collection and the one I found not only both have the "B", they have the same distributor overspray stripe on the top edge. I am 99% sure I bought his dad's rival's collection. The other crazy thing is that both his dad and the other OO were meticulous about condition. I got a bunch of super high grade books out of the deal, including Thor 126 9.8, Batman 171 9.6, ASM 51 9.8, FF 52 9.6, Flash 139 9.6, etc, etc, etc. They were all sold off to fund some Gold purchases, but I have some left (and a few from Retro). Pretty neat that there are two "B" collections out there, both kept beautifully by two kids pedaling furiously to the stores to beat the other to the four color gold. I think it's a great story anyway.
