Before and After a Wet Clean and Press 1 1

Hi, 

I did an experiment by cleaning a copy of Flash Gordon #7 and would like to get some opinions on the results good or bad.

yes of course, but Flash Gordon #7 is just a test bed, the book was not in a bad shape to start with. I will try it with something a little more beat up and see what the outcome looks like.  I am still thinking dry cleaning with a simply cotton swab is as far as it should go. The pressing is different story of course

Yes it does, hence no bloody wet cleans.  LOL

Can you clarify what you're trying to accomplish with a wet cleaning?

I wanted to see if what some of those folks on Youtube with the wet cleaning are fulll of it and most likely ruin more books than anything else. I am going to agree that wet cleaning a book is a risky proposition at best and maybe unethical at worst.

Many here, with years of experience have already proven that.
