Sensation Comics #63 - Is this trimmed or production error? 2 2

The bottom edge of the the first three pages and the last three pages have ridges. - See photos. I believe it to be a production error. What got me thinking was when I started looking at the back cover and that it may possibly have been trimmed? Your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Bo is correct.  This is not a defect or an "error" but a common feature with Golden Age DCs.

Nice book.  Production cut.  Alignment was off when the book was stapled, so that when the book was trimmed, those leafs didn't get a clean edge cut.

The jagged edge is from the knife box inside the folder on the printing press
