GRADE IS IN FOR... ASM 129 2 2

I have the opportunity to pick this up. I think it's a YES but price still needs to be negotiated. What do you guys think the grade is on this ASM #129? I could just play it safe and get a slabbed copy but I really want a raw. I just don't want to over pay and this is where I could use some help.

I see it as a 6.5 with probably a two grade bump after a press.

I have same thought.  6.5 may be harsher but 7.0 is safer for now.

Easily presses to 7.0 IMO. Maybe comes back higher as I've seen this one grade better than expected fairly consistently.

Original ask was closer to a 7.0 but got it down to 6.5 based on the previous input. I still feel like I didn't want to pay so much but considering he's a nice guy and paid A LOT more when he got it, I didn't want to haggle anymore. He didn't really want to sell but needs the money. I believe in karma (especially comic karma... but not Xian Coy Manh Karma ). Thanks for validating the 6.5 club! This will get graded one day but not sure how soon.

Sounds like you weighed everything well in the balance before going ahead. Rarely if ever will you feel regret in those circumstances. And if you know and like the seller, then it's never. Great purchase.

6.5 I would think, but I think there's definitely a half grade in there with a clean and press.  Great book!

Nice looking raw copy. Cant tell if that lower right corner bend is color breaking or not. Also seeing a light stain on the lower back cover. With a good C&P, I think 6.5 / 7.0.
