Just to clarify. I sent in 2 separate submissions. I was told that one was pressed and the other was dry cleaned. I was also told that my books will be shipped out this week. I’ll provide updates as I get them and let everyone know once I receive my books.

I’ve been asking for my books back for 16 months and still do not have them back. I asked for them back way before any health issues. I don’t believe anyone has gotten their books back.

I waited close to 10 years, every excuse. If he could not get on his feet and get my book finished in a professional manner, in that time frame. The dream is over, reality should of set in 9 years ago. I unfortunately was chasing the dream. 
I hope him the best however it’s time for reality to set in.
 

I would of had better odds investing in someone claiming to be a Nigerian prince.

Any negativity towards Mike is what he earned via his actions and lack of actions.

He had all kinds of time to fix things before it got to this point.

Sympathy and empathy can wait until this mess is cleaned up...as much as it can be.

I don't have a problem giving credit to Mike for returning some peoples books that is obviously a good thing.

And I do hope more book get returned.

This situation is about nothing else than Mike making things right.

Any goodwill that did exist previously was burned up by Mike.

Some books being returned doesn't change that.

Once all books that can be returned are returned then Mike can work on bettering himself and I truly hope he achieves that,.

I am also a member of the 'missing AF15 club', sadly.  (I don't post much on these boards, but have been a member for years)

Mike:  After emailing you a few times, it was suggested I reach out to you here on this board.  Please send me a PM regarding my AF15 (CGC 5.5 Restored-C2) that was sent to you in December, 2021, and we can coordinate returning the book to me. If this occurs, I will not seek legal action, and I will walk away from all of this. All I want is my family's book back -- as we discussed, it is a family heirloom for my kids -- and I want to move on from this.

Last known work on the book:  Mike sent me a video of the cover being cleaned, and said that 'next step was UV work.' No updates on work after that, only calls.

Mike, I truly hope you are ok, and I wish you no ill-will. We had many great conversations. All I want is my book back -- even if it is in pieces -- and I re-assemble it, and I will move on from there. As we chatted about many times, this is a book I truly want to show my Dad before he passes from his illness. 

With these pictures (below), if anyone has seen this book -- or comes across it in the future -- please know that it is stolen property, and please send me a message asap and/or contract the police regarding the potential sale of stolen goods.

If my book is returned to me, Mike, I will absolutely post about it (if you wish) to let people know you're returning their books and doing the right thing. It's never too late to do the right thing. Never too late to make a comeback.

Please PM me Mike, and I'm eager to sort this out in a quick and amicable way.

Just my unasked for 2 cents here, but if I were you and had waited over a year for this I would be involving law enforcement or an attorney. When you don't get a response or are ignored for this long, especially with a piece of property this valuable, it's time to escalate this to the proper authorities. I quit having grace when I pay for a job or pay toward a job that is not being fulfilled. Your situation has gone on way longer than I would have let it and I hope you get some resolution to it. I feel you're more likely to succeed in the form of having criminal charges filed and / or being made whole some other way than to receive your book back into your possession but I am still crossing my fingers for you! 
People like this have no business being in business with ANYONE for ANYTHING. If you can't handle your business as a seller you have no right to be operating a business. Period.

Well as of today my experience with Hero Restoration has come to as happy an end as I could have hoped for given the circumstances. I submitted an Ultimate Fallout 4 Djurj… drj… Variant Edition a long time back for the 4 Week express turnaround. I had pretty much written the book off as a loss but was shocked when after 10 months it showed up in the mail. I had sent it in to be graded and just received it back today- was expecting a 9.2- - 9.4 on it but as a reward for everything Mike put us through CGC gifted me a 9.6! Now, I suspect not being able to fulfill the companies promise of a 4 Week turnaround which I paid $120 for cost me possibly thousands of dollars in value on this given the books downward trajectory as of late I’m still thrilled to just have it back in hand with an incredible grade knowing I’ll still make money off it. I’m a Golden Age collector so this book was strictly meant as a flip towards my goal of either a Chamber of Chills 19 or a Terrific 5. Best of luck to anyone who’s still working through their issues with this dumpster fire.

It was a CGC book I'd gotten signed and pressed by CGC, but they did a terrible job pressing.

Message:	Hello - I have a submission in CGC8087459190 to press and remove restoration from Amazing Spider-Man 129. (A) Restoration includes a small amount of glue on the spine. I believe this is white Elmer's glue that I put on the book when I was younger. That being said I'm wondering if the heat from pressing will soften the glue and allow it to be removed rather than scrapping it while it is Dry? I understand your methods are proprietary, but I'm hoping with this knowledge we can avoid further damaging the book (as much as possible!) Thank you for your time,

Guys ok, I think we all know a couple things 1) Mike and/or his friends are in this chat and faking posts 2) nothing is happening he still have lots of books including mine.  I would again ask that we combine forces to try to get a resolution.  I think anyone with a book that matters have found out that this will be an expensive endeavor and take time (300-500/hr for a lawyer is a lot).  So I would implore you to DM me your email and lets join forces to get our books back.  I know you are afraid because you think I am a Mike plant, but even if I was what would you have to lose?  After I get your email lets do a Zoom and speak face to face.  I've already spoke to a lawyer and he said that his legal costs will be as much or greater than the book and Mike knows that so unless we join forces we all will all can do the math or time and money and think its pointless.  I'm ready if you are.  And if you are a Mike plant, I fully expect some email bashing this post or talking about what a hard time Mike has had, but guys don't listen to it and don't be scared.  Focus on getting together to get back our books.
