Superman: The Secret Years #1 to #4.  This mini-series is an overview of the few stories that cover the time Clark Kent spent in college at Metropolis University.  Issue #3 is the only comic of these four comics that isn’t a newsstand edition.  All four covers were done by Frank Miller.

FN, or better; off-white pages (no better than...).  Issue #1 has the most defects…numerous ink-breaking spine creases, especially on the back.  Issue #3 is probably the cleanest copy at VF or better.  These books were read, but they are intact and in decent shape.

I will provide back cover scans on request. :)

Four Color 1308, The Wizard of OZ (The Tales of).  Using four-color plates during production, this comic is adapted from the animated T.V. show 'Tales of the Wizard of OZ from 1962 (I believe).

This one is unique because information is scarce on this comic, including sales info.  I believe this one may be difficult to find.

GD, give or take; off-white pages.  The cover is completely detached, but the interior wraps look pretty good for their age.  There is a moderate spine roll, as well as some mildly bent corners through the whole comic...top and bottom.  There is a small piece of paper missing from the back cover's left edge.  The rest of the defects can be plainly seen in the scans.

I listed this slab not long ago, but no takers.  Prices are all over the place on eBay and HA, but a CGC 6.5 sold for $552 on Heritage back in March 2023.  A 6.0 is up for sale on eBay for around $800...that's to high IMO. :)

True Life Secrets #23, Charlton Comics.  This comic reprints stories from My Desire Intimate Confessions #4, Romantic Secrets #2, and Life Story #1.

CGC 7.5, Off-White Pages. There are some light cosmetic scratches on the case, and a few small Newton Rings in the front that are hard to see.

The True Story of Smokey the Bear, one-shot.  This comic retells the origin of Smokey the Bear.

There's not a lot of sales info out there, but this one-shot is from 1960. I'm guessing this one is difficult to find.

GD, give or take; off-white pages, with some light tanning at the top of some, if not all, of the pages.  The spine is severely split, leaving about 2 inches or so of paper left to keep the cover attached. Otherwise, the comic is complete and readable. The rest of the defects are visible in the scans.

Technically, I only have one Bronze/Copper Age Uncanny X-men raw comic, but I'm going to list what little I have left in my collection...they are Modern Age. :)

Uncanny X-Men #200 (newsstand).  This is a 52-page special, featuring the Trial of Magneto.

VF-, or better; off-white to white pages.  A clean/press will help a bit.

FN, or better.  The pages are mainly off-white, with some light tanning on the top edge of most.  I bought the comic in this condition years ago. Just look at that back cover!!! Yeesh!!!

Uncanny X-Men #283 (direct).  This issue features the 1st full appearance of Bishop, as well as the 1st appearances of Gamesmaster and Eye-Beam.

VF+, or better; off-white to white pages.  The front shows a production wrinkle below the issue number box, which barely breaks ink.  There is also a mild horizontal indentation through 'X-Men'.  A press should help.

Uncanny X-Men #294 (newsstand).  This issue is Part 1 of X-Cutioner’s Song, featuring the X-Men, X-Force, and X-Factor.  This copy doesn’t include the original poly bag or trading card.

VF-, or better; off-white to white pages. The bottom staple shows a bit of wear near the entry points because this comic is misaligned. There is also a very small ink rub near the back, center page edge. A press may help a bit.

Uncanny X-Men Annual #17 (direct).  This is the same comic as listed above, except it comes with the original polybag and X-Cutioner trading card.

VF, or better; off-white to white pages.  This copy has a bit more wrinkling, indentations, and mild bend creases that don't break ink.  Give it a press!! :)

The trading card looks good.

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea #12, George Wilson painted cover.  I have two copies of this issue, both with their own specific defects.

Copy #1:  This comic has a tear in the front cover that is held on by about an inch worth of paper.  It starts at the bottom.  There is another tear on the front cover, at the 'D' in 'Gold' that goes through the first few wraps.  There is a moderate spine roll as well.  The comic is complete and the cover is attached.

Copy#2:  This comic is structurally sound, but it has a nasty spine roll.  There are small tears on the spine, but the cover is attached.  The back shows stains and/or fingerprints near the top edge, along with some wrinkling.  The front has some color loss, as well as ink-breaking creases.

GD, or less; cream to off-white pages.  I'm giving both copies the same top grade estimate because of the different defects between them.  Better safe than sorry.

$7 (each copy)
