scburdet Posted December 24, 2023 Share Posted December 24, 2023 I don't think the spine looks bad. The square bounds are weird. Sometimes what look like damage is just the wonky binding process. BUT...what's going on with the lower left where the interior staples have made impressions through the front cover...almost looks like somebody has colored in the staple marks with black marker? I'm not 100% sure a 7.0 is consistent with what I've seen for similar defects on square bound books, but I can see a 6.5 with a key bump getting to 7.0.
