DougC
I am looking forward to the 2000's books as I stopped collecting new issues then (for the most part) and always like to see surprises I might have missed out on.
EastEnd1
Hi folks... hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend and all the kiddies have gotten back to school ok. Time to get into the Westfield box from March 2000... ADAMANTIUM
EastEnd1
I usually finish up with X-Men but we'll kick things off with the X-Men this time... Nice Adam Kubert cover featuring an ashen Cyclops visor on this one...
EastEnd1
Fabulous Tim Bradstreet skull cover on this Marvel Knights Punisher #1... have to say, I've featured a few of these and he did some amazing work on the covers for this more "adult" Punisher series... EastEnd1
Have made my fandom of George Perez Avengers work pretty clear at this point. This one is a 100 PAGER featuring 40 pages of Perez. With all the detail and characters he typically squeezed into each page, where did he find the time!
EastEnd1
It's Catwoman's turn on those stunning Jeph Loeb Batman: Dark Victory covers!

EastEnd1
And while we're on the topic of Batman... here's the Millenium Edition reprint of Robin's first appearance in Detective Comics #38...
EastEnd1
One nice little freebie from Westfield in this month's box was this signed Lara Croft, Tomb Raider poster. Not entirely sure but I guess that's Marc Silvestri's signature? ADAMANTIUM
EastEnd1
Explosive Spawn cover on this one... newshane and oldmilwaukee6er
EastEnd1
The Wizard of Oz has always been one of my all-time favorite movies... so of course I had to order at least one issue of Tincan Man #1 when it was offered. This guy's a little spookier looking though than the one I remember...
EastEnd1
Another one likely recommended by Westfield...

DC has published several one shot on this new year's evil line, curiously you not picked the most famous charachters who got their issue... it was one for Darskeid, Scarecrow and few others... Hmm... interesting... would think I definitely would have picked up Darkseid (though I think he's become bigger since 2000). It's possible it got shipped to me late and is in another box... or yes that I just missed out. Coverdeath

It was a very short lived series along the lines of what if fairy tales were real mixed with investigation.
kimik
I love seeing all of the different concepts that were being tested/attempted in the late 90s comic market implosion. It reminds me of how much was being put out in an attempt to try and grab any type of readership. EastEnd1 and oldmilwaukee6er
