tedkord
The better looking a book is to me the worse I am at grading. All I can spot is the two small creases on spine just under the price box. What do you guys think?
Bmattioli86
I see a small stain back cover by wolverines foot, finger prints, spine tic here and there… 8.5 before a press imo.
timfinz
9.0 IMHO nice copy that could improve with a clean and press. Thanks for posting!
Mr. Zipper
The stain on the back cover is going to knock it down. Plus, it's evident from the back spine there are a lot of transverse creases that appear to break paper fiber. These may press flat, but the break will always be there. And there are fingerprints in the black that may or may not be able to be fully removed. I'd be surprised if it went higher than 8.0. scburdet
If that's a stain on the back cover, then yes, 7.5/8.0 is going to be the ceiling. 7.5 likely. I've had this happen to me.
tedkord
Thanks everyone for your opinions. I bought this one new myself back in '88, and I think the stain is some glue or something from manufacturing. It feels like glue anyway. Goes to show you even a comic never read and kept in a bag in board can collect small injuries.
