This round is closed.  The reveal is coming in a few, followed by the graders notes.  Round 3 will begin in about an hour or so.  I want to get the grades from this round recorded first.  The results will most likely be posted tomorrow evening. (maybe in the morning)  Meanwhile, here is some music to listen to while I get this stuff posted.

Three of that on the Spotlight.  I kind of thought that was whatever they call it "distributor spray" and not a stain, but I wasn't sure.  So I hedged with the other small defects I could see and called it 9.0

Otherwise, somehow three bullseyes.

Seems like CGC graders pretty much tune out dust shadows just like foxing. It arguably makes little sense but there you have it.

I can kinda sorta buy the bottom edge tear as a production defect, like those gripper tears that show up on the bottom edge of ASM #121. Less so the other half dozen or so defects this book seemed to have.  (shrug)

Crazy, right?  The overspray and the dust shadows put me at 6.5 on this book, so I got mauled.  Those defects formerly knocked a book down into that upper mid grade level at best.  Things have certainly changed down at CGC.
