Does CGC grade "Facsimile Cover Reprint" books?  

Any examples of this?

Just search eBay for any well known facsimile comic, with CGC in the title. If any appear in the results, you have your answer.

Or search the CGC registry by title.

I believe you are asking if CGC will "grade" a coverless comic with a reprinted/facsimile front and back cover.

If so the answer is yes, it has to be attached at the staples but will receive a "NG" (no grade) designation when encapsulated.

Yes, I do it all the time - however it is better to source at least the back cover for these coverless books as that will allow you to obtain a 0.5 grade (at least half of the cover wrap must be present to qualify for a 0.5 grade, any more missing from a book and it is automatic NG).

This More Fun #72 has an entire facsimile cover wrap attached using the original staples.



However this Strange Tales #110 only has a facsimile for the front cover, the back cover is original.

Full facsimile cover wrap (as well as missing several interior wraps - basically the lowest of the low, but my options for owning such rare books is limited cause I don't earn that much, so I'll take what I can get)

Yes they will. Here is a recent one I sent in & CGC slabbed. The NG was a given, but it looks great & is still worth having IMHO.
