Markmel
So the deadline to submit for this epic signing (april19,2024) has past. Does anyone know if the actual signing has happened? I submitted a lot of books and just curious as to when I will be getting my books back.

KenobiJ
So … I have received back 2 of the six books I submitted for this event. Both of the two have the wrong custom label. I got Jane Austen Thor. Not the Wolverine custom label. No offense to Jane, but I picked and paid for Wolverine, bub. I’ve reached out to customer service. I’m sure they’ll jump on it. But I loathe having to put the books in the mail…. Again. Also, for me this is the second signature series event in a row that has come back with mistakes related to the labels. That sucks, sorry man. I tried to do do an AI Jane Austen-themed Thor, here's what I got: KenobiJ and Skippeydoo
KenobiJ
LOL … nice! Not sure why I had Jane Austen on the mind instead of Jane Foster ….

I also had mistakes on mine - I posted yesterday (see attached) they sent me labels confirming three signatories when there were six signatories - I will be reaching out to them via the usual email. signatureseries@cgccomics.com Is that the best way? Or did you call them. I also loothe to send these comics by post and risk getting it lost in the post unless I pay a lot for registered post. What did you do? snownado

I mentioned this in the other thread you mentioned this, but I looked up your scan (above) and see there is no mistake, you just have to flip the book over, the other names are on the other side of the book. They can’t fit them all on the front with the custom label so they list the additional ones on the back cover.
Matt1982
Did you guys who have gotten books back already get them pressed? All of the books I submitted that I'm having pressed are still "Received at CCS." melanrus and Kerdese

I have 2 batches for this signing (separate submissions) both went to CCS but both have moved out of the CCS phase though. One is SFG the other is GEI. The one that’s now GEI didn’t make it out of Received at CCS until 6/12. So I don’t have either back but both are further than yours even with CCS added. Same, and mine has been at CGC since January. I chatted with a CGC CS rep today and was told that my book is 'being pressed' even though the status is still 'Received at CCS' so... All of the books I submitted that I'm having pressed are still "Received at CCS." Hi, I just had Claremont for my signing and I also had Pressing. My book which they have had since January (as this was initially for the Claremont/Austin signing) as well just moved to SFG today. The timeline is about right. Said it would take about 6 weeks for pressing from signing. dbcn

Interesting (glad to hear you at least got a status change!) I was told 8 weeks this morning for pressing & grading, but I think that estimate was on the presumption that the book went to pressing immediately after the signing. As it stands now, it's been almost 7 weeks since the signing and the book hasn't even started the pressing process (officially) so I guess I'm looking at a 16 week turn around after the signing.... FYI. Mine said received at CCS for weeks and then went straight to scheduled for grading and a few days later grading/encapsulation/imaging. Based on that, my guess is received at CCS is just a filler status until pressing is done and moves to grading. I don’t think it means your book has not started the pressing process. melanrus
