  1. If witnessed / through a facilitator, you will pay for each signing.
  2. Hmm..if Austin signed, did he sign without Claremont as it was advertised them together? Have to think he did and Claremont will sign with the Wolverine groups signing.
  3. Reach out to Rich Henn who is a CGC SS facilitator. He has a private signing with Moench at the end of the month. Check with him if you can still submit. His form on the submission is still there to fill out but best to contact him. Good luck.
  4. Received my CGC SS Artgerm book back. Sent in an older book and select custom label Timeline 01/11 - SFG 02/05 - signing 02/07 - GEI 02/09 - Shipped 02/12 - Delivered I usually get pressing but skipped this time which explains the fast turnaround as the book looked really clean and the final grade matched!
  5. On his X account, he posted several pics of some of the signing and remarques on books has he has...go to Rick Leonardi
  6. As it is not a CGC SS slab, you will submit as regular and will get a Green Label.
  7. Yes but you will have to submit the slab to CGC and have CCS press it.
  8. The credit is good for the full year that you signed up or renewed for a paid membership. It will be applied to each submission until you have used up the entire credit. The credit is not limited to just slabbing. It can be used against Pressing. The negative of the credit is keeping track of it. It is not listed or documented in your account though the deduction will appear in your invoice you receive for each submission. You can always reach out to them for a status update if needed and if you noticed the credit was not applied, they are also good at applying credit if they forget to. HTH
  9. Arrived today and very happy as well. Timeline 10/09/23 - Received at CCS 11/28/23 - signing (shown on label) 01/08/24 - SFG 01/16/24 - GEI 01/17/24 - G/QC 01/18/24 - Shipped 01/24/24 - arrived (delay due to weather according to fedex. Delay in FL for a while)
  10. From what I have seen, it is about the same (or better deal as you do not need to spend money to attend con and not need to wait in line ). Will only speak about signatures and Ramos. Very nice person if you get the chance to meet and speak with him. Very friendly. He charges in the last couple of cons I have been to anywhere from $20-$25 a book. If you want to get it slabbed (the price will be on the higher end), you will need to find a facilitator (if CGC is not there) who will witness and submit for you for their fee and the CGC SS submission fees per book. It will be submitted under their account. For my last one, was $65 a book. If you want pressing, they will charge $20-$25 book. Add it up, generally close to the CGC SS signing they offer. Note, if you do go to the con, go to his table and find out when his signing is. It is limited and line will be long when it happens. People line up early. Then go and book the facilitator to arrange witness signing. Don't be surprised if you cannot get book signed (due to other signings you may have booked or line is too long that signing will end while you are still in line) In that case, you will need to either drop off books with facilitator to get it signed for you or look for another time slot and try again. HTH
  11. Grader Notes on a 9.8? Can you share what was written? Sure it would have been nicer to get it for the 9.6
  12. I have run into this in the past. The issue is "Uncanny", that selection needs to be remove/fix. You should select Marvel Comics X-Men #133 5/80. Add button will be available. If you look out on ebay and search that title, you will see the label is just X-Men and not Uncanny X-Men.
  13. Your update gives me small hope there will be movement soon for my single book for just a signing. My triple signed book is still at status Received at CCS.
  14. This would be considered a Mechanical Error (ME) and would get free shipping. The form is found under regular grading submission. Just in case, I would send a post to the Ask CGC as this is a CGC SS. Not sure how that is handled if differently. I have only done Universal ME.
  15. You have to assume they did not elect to have pressing with their order which will add time to your order (2-4 weeks additional time). If you added pressing, it will have status of Received at CCS (think that is what you meant). If it was in grading, it would be Schedule for Grading.
  16. Based on CGC Facebook, the signing already occurred and completed on Dec 2. With the timeline of 6-8 weeks after signing, looking to receive in the new year.
  17. Received my Inhyuk Lee CGC SS. Obviously very happy with the grades Timeline Received at CCS - 09/13 Signing, occurred at NYCC - 10/10 SFG - 11/02 GEI - 11/14 Shipped - 11/30 (attribute this to the holidays and their move) Delivered - 12/03
  18. Noticed this comment on the Ask CGC forum which I was not aware of, from the 13th-21st we had an office move as we transferred into a new facility that could better fit our needs and future growth. This may affect the total turnaround time as well. Mine has been in GEI for some time and with the comment above and add the holiday, may explain lack of progress.
  19. No charges will occur when you complete your submission form. It is not a live form. Once you print out and submit along with your books, it will be processed (ie they open your package) and inputted into the system which will then start the charge. Depending on what you have, if you have pressing, there will be a pressing charge and then the slab charge. They may occur at the same time or be at separate times. If you signed up for new membership, you will also have a $150 credit which can be applied to your orders. You will not see the credit on your account. Check the invoice/charge to see if you got credited for it. If not, contact them to see if they can apply.
  20. Yes, what you saw is the norm and expected. I have seen it where both happen at the same time and also case where they charge pressing and will charge the rest later. The charge does not mean the signing has begun. They do not have a status for Pending signing. If you have pressing selected, it will be marked Received at CCS. If you do not, then it will be marked Scheduled for Grading. The signing will typically take about 2 months (that is being generous) after the due date due for submission. Once signing has completed (no formal announcement though you will see some social media post, Facebook, showing it) the clock will then start from there for pressing and grading.
  21. Received my Skottie Young slabs back (bit late posting). I really enjoy his covers. Received - 08/08 10/04 - signing 10/11 - SFG 10/19 - GEI 10/25 - shipped 10/28 - delivered Obviously happy with the 9.8 but surprised at how much they took off for other to be a 9.0, "light fingerprint on cover". Really have to look hard at it but do see it, ugh. Still a great cover.
  22. Another suggestion, for the future, is if you can see that the order will be shipping soon and you will not be around like you said when it ships, call CGC ahead and tell them to hold the package until you are back or until you call them back to release the hold. I have done this a couple of times and it works well.
  23. Adding my latest addition CGC SS, mentioned it in the "Progress" topic but it qualifies here, so I am posting here!
  24. Happy Friday! Received 1 shipment from Jason Fabok signing. Timeline - 08/09 - Received at CCS 08/24.- signing (think it happened at FanExpo Canada?) 10/02 - SFG 10/03 - GEI 10/09 - G/QC 10/10 - Shipped 10/13 - Delivered. Interesting to note from CGC Cert, this is the only CGC SS 9.8
