was poking around eBay to upgarde about 5-6 months ago- an 8.0 or 8.5 and they were $750-1k. Now it seems an 8.0-8.5 is $1,600-2k.

Hmmmm. You're correct. While the price pattern is a generally random scatter in the $700-$1150 range, why people are willing to pay so much for so common a mag is puzzling indeed.

I just checked my X-Men 94, and there is no denying it — the book is “well loved!”

 

 

(P.S. — I think we need to start exercising what my wife calls “menu English.” 
 

“Well Loved” condition sounds so much nicer than “Fair” or “Poor” condition.)
