Subby1939
Only one staple on this one (top only). I've had this one a very long time. Appreciate opinions on the grade and the impact the single, a bit offset staple will have on it.
Kirby_Fan
A textbook 7.5, IMO. It would be in the 8.5 to 9.0 territory but the lower r.h.c color breaking crease reduces it to 7.5. Subby1939
timfinz
8.0 IMHO The bottom corner of the spine seems to account for most of the grade loss. Gorgeous book otherwise! Thanks for posting! Subby1939
tedkord
Not good at grading, but that's a sharp book. Subby1939
JollyComics
Pretty copy. The biggest defect is on lower right corner. Light wear in general. 8.0/8.5. Subby1939
scburdet
I think 7.5 for the same corner issue mentioned above. If I am reading your description correctly, this only has one staple? It might get a green label, with an acknowledgement of the production defect. I have a book manufactured without staples with a green label. It would not impact the grade or value, but would be an nice oddity for people who specifically look for this kind of thing. Subby1939
Subby1939
Thanks I was wondering if that would affect anything. I could probably see a green label more on a book without any staples ... so there's nothing holding it together?
