Very nice, the placement and color look awesome.

That was all him. I had a gold sharpie and he used it for my other books. When he got to that book, he put it down and said, no, this one is better and picked up the copper one. He was right. Loved the placement too. Now I just hope it comes back either same grade (9.6) or better. :wishluck:

There are no spine ticks. The only problems that I see with it, it has 2 slightly soft corners. Ever so slight. Other than that, I didnt see anything wrong with it after taking it out of the slab. But, who knows.

I think this will go a long ways to determine some it's sustainable value.  There's been a small flood, so if this auction ends at around $5K I think we have a pretty good idea of it's current demand.

Four copies in four months would constitute a "small flood" for this book. ;)

Thanks. I was scared too. Debated it. Especially since Ive had a few 9.8 slabs come back 9.6 with no graders notes after submitting for SS lately. But, ever since I got it, I wanted Lee to sign it. So, Im rolling the dice. Worst case, I could always resubmit for grading at some point later. I really think its a solid 9.6 with a chance at 9.8. Anything less and I will be kicking myself.

9.8 Blue finished at $4,600, thats right in the ball park

Considering 4, 9.8's have come up in the last 90 days (as opposed to the one or two or a year before this little price spike), that's pretty awesome. :)

I suspect the SS copy will break $5k....

I think this must be one of those "warehouses" where they keep all the 5-15 year old ultra rare variants that a couple people used to blather on about lol :

Well the one seller has sold three so he must have access to the warehouse...:baiting:......more importantly, have you made note of how much this one 'buyer' loves this particular book !!!  :roflmao:

I don't pay much attention to the non-Spidey super duper rare variant books that are so important, maybe I should do some research at least until my posts go on "automatic hold for moderator review" in this thread. :eyeroll:

This listing was ended by the seller because the item was lost or broken.

Dang, sucks for them. There would have gotten some nice cash. Maybe they can find it?

There is no warehouse - the listing clearly stated the book was found in a garage house basement. That should be pretty familiar, I'm sure we all have garage house basements.

All closed sales and feedback left on both sides, several months to a year ago.

Have you seen any of the books re-listed on eBay or elsewhere that you can provide links to ?
