I recently picked up a nice sized collection of Silver Age DC books, and I picked out a couple books to get slabbed. Here is the first one...let me know what you think!

7.5-8.0...leaning toward the higher grade..

I still can't see the front very well, the scan appears grainy. Looks like an easy 8.0 from what I can see though.

a word of advice, you might want to sacrifice overall dimensional size for crispness in your original image

this is strange. i still only see a thumbnail of the FC which provides for no enlarging and a large scan of the BC................................

ok - got it now - NICE copy.....................

 

the LLC tear will hold it down a bit and the BC is a bit soiled, but considering how fine it looks on such a hugea$$ scan, i'm thinking 8.0 minimum despite being a DC.............. (CGC IMHO is tough on DC's......)

I'm gonna stick my neck out and call this a possible 8.5...

 

but knowing how CGC grades these books let's keep it at a safe 8.0.
