Sorry to drag this away from our spandex wearing superpowered freinds but;

 

I was hoping that you could shed some light on the changes through history with the Blackhawk team.

 

As far as I can recall there have been.

 

1. Several costume and logo updates throughout the years.

2. A natural evolution of aircraft types through the ages.

3. Chop Chop lost his pony tail and Asian Appearence becoming more westernised.

4. Lady Blackhawk joines the team.

5. Blackhawk & Lady Blackhawk get married.

6. One of the blackhawk team is Killed.

7. In the 1970 they become more of a superhero team than a military team as such.

 

I am sure that much more has happened but you might be able to fill the gaps a little more.

But to a non-Marvel person, when "flaming" the silver age Torch looks just like the golden age.

 

Here they are on the same cover (Fantastic Four Annual #4... when the GA Torch was reintroduced to the SA):

 

 

Interestingly, the SA Torch had flaming hair (like the GA Torch) later in the Bronze Age... around the time that the SA Torch also took on an orange uniform (similar to the GA Torch).
