Straw-Man
That is pretty darn impressive Rick. Cheslers from Billy, and Wonder Womans from you. Twenty years ago we would have laughed. Now we are applauding. You both are just ahead of the curve, trend-setters if you will. Whodathunkit? I suspect parker is more of the trend setter...have you seen the way he dresses? Pretty snappy, that Parker. Kinda like Fred Flintstone with shoes. And I got a Ha Ha from Barney! that was from Brucey, Barney's christmas-mantel designing brother. Scrooge
Still can't compete with the group shots posted above, nor can I compete against that silly dinosaur but I finally bit the proverbial bullet and ordered the Reggie # 6 that Mile High had listed for ever to finish my Archie set. In fact, it's ridiculous it's taken me this long since Archies from the 50's are probably some of the easiest books to find (remember I am not too much condition conscious). Archie was a minor publisher output-wise with only 10 books in my set. Proof the boards are great, I got the Suzie from 143ksk and the Ginger from Ed. Katy Keene was from Rich Munchin, Wilbur and Laugh were also Mile High purchases, the rest (Archie, Pep, Super Duck, Jughead) were eBay -

agro23
A work in progress... There are some tough books on this cover that I may never get like Green Giant #1 & Tec #2 (can't afford) or New Adventure #27 & Amazing Mystery Funnies V2 #2 (can't find). But the missing will get picked off one by one nonetheless. Some of these are undercopies or pre-CGC scans. The back cover of Gerber's The Photo-Journal Guide to Comic Books, Volume Two (K-Z)
