To end off this latest run, here is one of the coolest ads from the late-BA. Amazing Spider-man 200 - only "17 Years Ago..." - hard to believe.

We already covered off Origins of Marvel Comics and Son of Origins, so how about Bring on the Bad Guys?

This ad is a very strange one for a "Comic Event" that I barely remember, except that is sucked hard. This "Warriors of the Shadow Realm" stuff was hyped like mad, but really failed to deliver, other than the fact that it might have been the first painted comic book.

I just love these full-page ads like this classic, that just seem to come out of nowhere:

This What If? promo has to be one of my favorites, and I can remember reading it and thinking this was the coolest idea ever. What if Gwen Stacy never died? What if Bucky never died?

 

Of course, every Marvel Modern is now a What If book anyway, but back them, it was new.
