Great books, guys. :headbang:

 

Funny thing about those Simon covers -- awhile back in this thread, we figured out that most (if not all?) of the major figures in his Fox covers were swiped from one source or another, usually from then-current pulp covers. Even so, they are undeniably cool.

I've always been curious if Fantastic Comics #8 is a Joe Simon cover (or at least, a partial cover)? It's not listed as such in either the Overstreet or CGC label, but the style of Samson on #8 seems very similar to the way he's drawn on the cover of #7.

 

Any thoughts or insight?

I've always assumed it's a Simon cover. As you say, it looks just like all his others.
