Spidey and Batman were my first comic book loves as a little kid, mostly because I was crazy about both the Adam West Batman show and the animated Spider-Man cartoon. I love Spider-Man books, but always gave up on collecting them in order to pursue Golden Age. But now I've finally decided to try to put together a run of ASM..It probably won't be totally complete, because I know ASM 15 is in unattainable territory, and ASM is getting there too. Anyhow, these are some of the books I've obtained in the last couple of months. I have to settle for low grade on many because of the prices, but I try to get decent copies. And I can't wait to get the spine roll fixed on ASM 14.

Great looking books! I’ve always tried to collect well-presenting lower to mid grades of these books myself. As a result I found a couple qualified or coupon cut books which present very well for cheap. This is such a fun run to collect. Good luck with the rest.

Ya sucks being a fan of x titles and prices going up steady even for low grade books. Hell I been collecting spidey around 21 years. And only started getting silver in last 6 or 7 years. And Ya there will be a few I probably won't get due to price. But that is fun of it. I have 281 issues to go to have all from 1 to present.

I never owned a #1 in my life, but I've had 2-38 several times.... I probably enjoy putting together ASM as much as any except maybe FF. Both titles are just key after key after key ... if you call villain 1st appearances a Key. Here's a recent pickup. I planned to sell it, but it's really growing on me. GOD BLESS...
