It seems like in previous years (and when I say previous years, I mean decades ago) that all #100s (Batman, Spidey, FF, etc) were kind of a big thing ... bigger than today.

Ok, with the acquisition of this Fantastic Four 50 7.5 White my quest is nearly at an end. Final stop on the 7.5 W train is number 52. I don't want issue 49 as I don't consider it the 1st Galactus. P.S. While I'm here if anybody has a suggestion for a legal size scanner that doesn't leave this nasty glare on some holders please tell me.

i have a really good scanner that would ordinarily be perfect for collectors, but the manual says it has a chip in it that disables it from use by anyone who doesn't want ff 49.

Ha ha hardy har har. Nice one. I would like a 49 but not ga pay the money it goes for because Galactus appeared in 48. A whole page. I remember when 48 was considered his 1st appearance even on the cgc label.

You could always get a 49 in 4.5 CR/OW just to be spiteful.

@Frisco Larson, do you have a La Prenza copy of FF 24? the Mexican versions are a touch wider; maybe it has all the art?

Sorry pal, but I don't have a copy of that one. FF wasn't as big of a focus when I first started buying the La Prensa copies, PHM was the main focus there. Of course, NOW I'm all over the place!  Here's my earliest La Prensa FF.

Close, but the red word balloon mentions 'ook length' and there's no white space to the right of the CCA stamp.  I don't think the design of this cover allows for both features to be present:

Agree. Beautiful copy!

My former collection also had this one, with the wording in the red balloon still partially wrapped onto the spine and an incomplete CCA stamp at the upper right.

My former copy had perfect left edge but incomplete CCA stamp and issue number square, my new copy has the opposite problems.
