1st big books? Hulk #181 CGC 9.6 for $4200. Flipped it anf bought a second copy within 3 months. Also bought an X men #1 CGC 8.5 for about $7500 2 years ago.

In 2002 I bought my first $100+ book... FF#57 in 9.0/9.2

In 2003 I spent $250+ on a FF#5 in 4.0

In 2004 I dropped 500+ on a FF#2 in 4.5

in 2005 I spent $1200 on a single book

 

right now I'm shopping for an ASM #1....

Yup. When I bought my Hulk 181 for $750, I had to pay in 3 installments. Prior to that purchase, I had never spent more than $250 on a single book.

 

Once I broke the 1K barrier, I found myself pulling the trigger on $250 books without blinking an eye.

 

Needless to say....I've never been as broke as I am now.
