Mark was suppose to have sent me a ASM 101.

When he claimed he did, I never got it.

He claimed it was a label error (meaning he made a mistake or something)

And was to get it back last saturday, well, a week later...and nothing.

And he said he was gonna ship it out again, with another book for his mistake.

This was a trade too, ASM 18 for a ASM 101.

I trusted him because of what he sent me before.

However, I can see that this turned out to be a mistake.

 

I'm probably the only one to have talked to him the most via AIM.

Which also explains why I have, and would of trusted him.

And so now, he is gone.

He got my book, but I never got his.

 

Jacob... I'm sorry to hear that he did this to you the most... of all people it's not like you have the deepest pockets but you probably have one of the most generous hearts ( referring to the story about you sending your old transformers to another forumite's son for free ). This guy is a joke and will prey on anyone no matter what station they have in life... what a class act!!! 893censored-thumb.gif

Probably the most giving person on the boards and he gets slapped in the face. That really pisses me off tonofbricks.gif

 

You know if he would just say, hey I messed up, I will get the books out, I will get you paid etc and followed through (even if it took him some time), I am sure most people would say, thanks for at least taking it like a man or acting like one. We all know Lighthouse did the same thing, and I think for the most part he has worked on getting everyone paid etc. At least he is owning up to it.

I have messed up before (if you ask my wife, quite often), but admit your mistake and rectify the problem.

Jacob, PM me, let's see if we can help find those books for ya or something similar flowerred.gif!

Yeah, I don't understand it. There was a time where he said he was

putting together a box of ASM comics for me, and right now, well, I doubt it haha.

I can let this pass, since he sent me a ASM 96 earlier. But, I doubt I will do this again.

I can consider this "even" in a way. But it will not go any further then this now.

I mean on AIM, he's a great guy. I guess when it comes to "buisness" he's not.

I don't know how many times i have ripped open a box to check even though i was positive I had addressed the right one. My solution is I do one box at a time, then clear that transaction from paypal and then the next.

Sorry to hear about everyone who has lost out as a result of this guy. I've had a $100 book set aside for him for months now. I also heard the "I mislabeled the envelope and sent it to the wrong address" excuse. I was hoping he just got in a little over his head and eventually was going to make good but if he's left the boards and deleted his AIM and myspace accounts etc, it doesn't sound like that is going to happen.

He ripped off Butters? What a dirtbag. I know it's bad to grift anyone, but when it's done to someone without a lot of money (and who is personally generous on top of it) it's especially egregious. Sorry to hear about that man. frown.gif
